Recursive Process
Within the revision process for Project 3 I found that I needed to fix some grammatical mistakes and add clarity to some of the arguments I was trying to portray. I typically ran into problems with punctuation when it came to quoting. I would sometimes place the period or comma outside of the quotation marks which isn’t consistent with MLA format. Overall though, I think my writing did have a clear sense of purpose. On top of this I think my paragraphs were organized logically enough although I might have benefited from switching my Gladwell and Tarver paragraphs. On top of all of this, I think I used an appropriate amount of textual evidence within these paragraphs. My style seemed authentic to me and I think it was pretty engaging given our prompt. I addressed all of the questions we needed for the assignment and added my own spin to some of Turkle’s ideas given the extra sources I decided to use. My work in revision really helped and I’m proud of my final work. I enjoyed writing this essay and having the freedom to find some of our own sources.
