Topics include the history of communication as an academic discipline, communication as identity and relationship construction, nonverbal communication and listening, communication media and technology, and communication in a variety of interpersonal, familial, group, and workplace settings.
Student Description:
Introduction to Communications offers a very general overview of the communications field. Topics include the history of communication, verbal/nonverbal communication, super communicators, communication in a variety of settings, and communication media and technology. Students will also get hands-on learning with audio and camera equipment as well as learn how to use DaVinci Resolve 19.
