The State College Interfraternity Council (SCIFC) was recently formed by the Pi Kappa Alpha, Tau Kappa Epsilon, and Sigma Chi fraternities at Penn State. This council aims to foster a more inclusive Greek Life at State College. The council focuses on governance and community involvement while also creating a socially responsible fraternity experience. Fraternities in the council must follow the North American Interfraternity Council guidelines. Additionally they must introduce Greek ID cards for event tracking and will utilize a student judiciary board that handles disciplinary actions.

Kari Jackson, a freshman linebacker at Penn State, suffered injuries in both his senior year of high school and his freshman year at State College. These injuries have sidelined him for almost two whole years. Despite these setbacks, Jackson has stayed engaged, learning from older players and focusing on the mental aspect of the game. He’s now fully recovered and ready for spring ball, aiming to compete for a spot in a linebacker rotation. Using his adversity as fuel, Jackson has high hopes for the 25/26 season.
